EURIDIT FOUNDATION
Promote education and training as vectors of peace and cooperation
The Private Foundation « EURIDIT – Education, Pace, Cooperation " created in June 2022, is the new guise of EURIDIT, a non-profit association and aims to mark its continuity in vision, in values, in goals and activities. The Foundation aims to increase sustainability, design agility, to start new initiatives, giving greater legal force and a safer perspective to the previous EURIDIT Association, incorporated in 2006 in Brussels.
The Private Foundation « EURIDIT – Education, Pace, Cooperation » is registered in Belgium and has its headquarters in Brussels. It aims to operate in Europe and in low-income countries outside Europe.
It was strongly desired by the President of the EURIDIT Association, Dr. Giovanni Polliani, educator and first president, Supported with as many strength by the donor of scholarships to Liceo Liceo Laye in Senegal.
The Foundation bears the specification of "private" not because it is owned by any particular natural person, but because Belgian law provides for two types of foundations. The "Private Foundation" is established with a notarial deed by one or more natural or legal persons, they mean allocate a patrimony for the realization of a specific disinterested purpose defined by them. The "Foundation of public utility" is established via royal decree for the protection and promotion of assets of "public utility", as philanthropic works, religious, artistic or cultural.
