WHO WE ARE

The Private Foundation « EURIDIT – Education, Pace, Cooperation » has as objectives :

  • promote the cultural and professional education and training of young people and adults in society and in schools in particular;
  • promote peace, education and brotherhood among peoples, promoting their development and integration at European and international level, also through cultural exchanges between students;
  • support willing young people in their studies, in socio-economic and psycho-physical difficulties , assigning scholarships and implementing useful actions to fight against early school leaving;
  • contribute to the development of education and training systems at European and international level.

The Private Foundation implements the values ​​and planning heritage of the EURIDIT Association and carries out the following activities as a priority:

  • collaboration with schools, European and international universities and cultural institutions, to promote social inclusion and tackle the problem of early school leaving;
  • awarding of scholarships for disadvantaged students at the Limamou Laye High School in Dakar (Senegal), in memory of Captain Francesco De Negri killed by the Nazi-fascists in the massacre of Kefalonia;
  • support for the Italian language and culture club “Captain Francesco De Negri”, at the Limamou Laye High School in Dakar (Senegal);
  • teacher training, young people and adults for the diffusion of a culture of peace, of cooperation and solidarity;
  • activities that encourage and support the practice of music, as a universal language to convey values;
  • search for human and material resources, activation of projects or other initiatives to achieve the Foundation's objectives.

The Board of Directors is made up of the Chairman Giovanni Polliani, the Vice-President Valentina Pomatto, El Hadji Ba, Ennio Cominetti and David U. Wisdom.
